"General Davis and His Red Tails" is a print that celebrates the Tuskegee Airmen. It is a larger than life print created by artist Paul Tepper of Ohio. Paul created this piece during his Senior year at Columbus College of Art and Design. General Benjamin O. Davis was recruited to train all African American airmen at Tuskegee Air Force Field in Alabama. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American airmen to enlist into the United States military. The African American airmen who became single-engine and multi-engine pilots had to overcome adversity and discrimination to protect the country they loved so dearly.
