Introducing the 2023 Ohio Statehouse limited edition ornament! This unique ornament offers multi-dimensional view of the iconic Ohio Statehouse rotunda. 

The ornament comes with a description card that reads as follows. 

"Ohio Statehouse 2023: 'The Nobel Center Apartment'. 

When the workman completed the rotunda of the Ohio Statehouse, many were pleased with its overall appearance. The Ohio State Journal for January 3, 1860 stated:

'The scaffolding that has for years towered in the Rotunda and been such an obstruction and eye-sore of the interior of the State House, has been removed, and the now the noble center noble center apartment is the grand attraction of the building. It is the remark of all that a finer specimen of architecture than the Rotunda and interior of the dome does not exist in America.  Standing upon the floor, the eye is cast upward one hundred and twenty feet, and rests upon a magnificent skylight of ground and stained glass, the center of which is a beautiful design of the Great Seal of the state, done in colors most admirably blended; from this radiates a star of red and yellow rays, surrounded with a plain ground glass, which, in its turn, is encircled by a belt of rosettes, and the whole is finished with an outside of plain glass. it makes a pleasing picture; and when the oil paintings, that are ordered, are placed in the panels, the Rotunda of the Ohio State House will vie in magnificence with similar buildings of the world.'"
